Harjot Guram

Harjot Guram

Director, Integrated Service Centre (ISC)

As the Director, Integrated Service Centre (ISC), Harjot works in partnership with the Director, Application Sustainment to deliver integrated services to the UBC community. A key part of this role is to partner across UBC to deliver on service requirements for the UBC community through a collaborative, inclusive approach.

The Director co-leads strategy implementation in a “two in a box” model with the Director, Application Sustainment. Both Directors are accountable for the planning, development, implementation, control, review and delivery of strategy, including ensuring an excellent customer service experience for faculty, staff and student employees. 

The Director leads, mentors and inspires the team to deliver service excellence, including working with and inspiring their peers and key stakeholders on continuous improvement activities to deliver on UBC goals. This critical work also includes collaboratively creating and sustaining a culture with and for the UBC community that supports UBC’s vision, purpose and values.

Harjot joined UBC in January of 2018 as Director, Payroll and Benefits with the Financial Operations department. He brings with him a wealth of experience in payroll, accounts payable, and procurement services from Simon Fraser University, where he was Associate Director, Financial Operations for five years. He has also worked at ADP as the Manager, Implementation where he provided excellent customer service and business solutions to his clients across Canada.

Harjot’s qualifications include a Master of Business Administration, an undergraduate degree in Business, and over 10 years of experience in a public sector, multi-union environment.

In his spare time, Harjot enjoys playing recreational hockey and going skiing. He volunteers on the executive at both Burnaby Minor Hockey and Metro Ball Hockey and enjoys coaching children in both recreational and competitive ball hockey.


Laleh Mosadegh

Director, Program Delivery (OCIO)

Laleh splits her time between the ISC and the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Her role at the ISC is to lead the technical aspects of Workday, including product management and application sustainment.

With over 10 years at UBC, Laleh has had the opportunity to work on many interesting projects and initiatives. These include the implementation of a new recruitment and admission system for international and domestic undergraduate students, the establishment of Integration Enablement Center to allow UBC systems to exchange data in real time, and the Integrated Renewal Project. She enjoys making connections, both between different tools and systems and with people across the university.

Laleh began her IT career with Accenture, where she did project management, vendor management and help desk management. She first joined UBC as a Client Services Manager with IT, a role that allowed her to meet with many departments and faculties.

She has lived in several countries, but is very happy to call the city of Vancouver home. Making things better is her hobby, whether it is designing a home, creating art, or investing time to nurture the growth and success of her team.


Rakhee Raj Bharamaraj

Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications

In her role as Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications, Rakhee oversees all aspects of change management for the ISC, including communications, knowledge management and training. Her team supports UBC faculty, staff, and student employees in using Workday effectively.

Rakhee is a knowledgeable change management practitioner with experience working in complex organizations and on major digital transformation projects. She is a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

Rakhee previously worked with Deloitte US as a Senior Consultant. She completed the Master of Engineering Management Program (MEMP) at Duke University and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Her interests include travel, sustainable fashion, hiking, camping, low waste living, and home organization.


Henrik Agerskov

Senior Product Manager

As the Senior Product Manager, Henrik is responsible for ensuring the products and services delivered by the ISC continually meet the needs of the UBC community by managing and overseeing the strategic development and implementation of product and service improvements over time.

Henrik has been with UBC since 2019 as a Senior Project Manager, UBC IT leading the integration of the RISe and Blackbaud applications with Workday. Prior to joining UBC, he led product implementation and enhancement initiatives related to Finance, Human Resources and Student Services at Simon Fraser University for 10 years as a senior project and program manager.

In his spare time, Henrik enjoys skiing, bicycling and running, tries to be as engaged as possible in the busy lives and activities of his two teenage sons, and enjoys coaching competitive youth soccer.


Veekay Padhi

Veekay Padhi

Senior Manager, Service Centre

As the Service Centre Senior Manager, Veekay is responsible for guiding support specialists to provide faculty and staff with day-to-day Workday support, helping to answer system questions and deal with issues such as access, errors, and functionality.

With an inclusive, people-centric, data-informed approach, he leads the strategic development of policies, standards, and controls related to operational efficiency and compliance to build a culture of continuous improvement within the Service Centre. Previous to UBC, he supported customer service operations for Amazon in the Americas, UK and India. He completed a Master of Business Administration at Symbiosis International University, India, and holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Veekay enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and volunteering at nonprofit LGBTQIA2S+ Support organizations.
