Introducing the ISC Team!

Over the last few months, the team has been working hard to prepare for the launch of Workday and its sustaining organization, the Integrated Service Centre (ISC). To enable a successful launch of both Workday and the sustainment organization, we’re excited to announce several new team members that will be joining the ISC between now and January 2021. Since our last update, we’ve welcomed twelve additional new members to the Application Sustainment team and one to our Change & Communications team.

 

Calvin Liu to join the Integrated Service Centre as Finance Product Manager

Calvin Liu will be joining the Integrated Service Centre (ISC) as Finance Product Manager. In this role, Calvin will ensure business and user needs related to Finance within the ISC products and services are identified and prioritized. He will support the enhancement of Finance products, understanding all functionality, features, performance and applicability for UBC. Calvin will partner across the UBC community to prioritize enhancement roadmaps and backlog ensuring alignment with finance strategy, policy and practices.

 

Lani McGill to join the Integrated Service Centre as HR Product Manager

We are pleased to announce that Lani McGill will be joining the Integrated Service Centre (ISC) as of January 4, 2021 as the new HR Product Manager. In this role, Lani will lead the functional HR team within the ISC and will be responsible for ensuring user needs related to HR are identified and actioned within ISC products and services.

 

Deirdre Brown joins the Integrated Service Centre as Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications

We are pleased to announce that Deirdre Brown will be joining the Integrated Service Centre as of September 8, 2020, as the new Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications. In this role Deirdre will be focused on establishing a strategic change approach for the ISC with specific responsibility for all areas of change management including communications, knowledge management and training.

 

Alice Shin joins the Integrated Service Centre as Senior Manager, Service Centre

We are pleased to welcome Alice Shin as the new Senior Manager, Service Centre for the Integrated Service Centre (ISC). In this new role, Alice will be responsible for the comprehensive strategic leadership and direction for the operations of the Service Centre, including human resources, resource allocation, strategic planning, policy development, and knowledge management. She will also determine the evolving service support requirements and be accountable for optimal user support experience for related ISC products and services.
